The Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development at SUNY Binghamton facilitates opportunities for students to engage in both deepening connections and building new relationships that foster career success at Binghamton. For Family Weekend, they have invited Binghamton alumna Ilana Tolpin Levitt ‘86, http://www.ilanalevitt.com/ a National Award Winning Career Counselor and human resources professional, who is also a parent of a college student, to foster a dialogue around best practices for family members. As a career counselor and author of, “What’s Mom Still Got To Do With It? Breathe New Life Into Your Career By Understanding Your Mother-Daughter Relationship,” we know she will enrich our perspectives on deepening how family members of both sons and daughters can be supported in this process of exploration, preparation, experience procurement and professional development while they are students and beyond. Please join us for this interactive session. Students and parents both welcome.
